my best guess is that this jasper gemstone is cherry creek jasper. it is bezel set in silver with an oversized bail. it is stamped 925 indicating it is sterling silver. it measures 2 & 1/2 by 5/8 inches. i strung it on a sterling silver 24 inch ball chain.
